Make sure to stop by the Morris Graves Museum of Art Saturday night for Arts Alive!, where we have 3 new shows opening, a new featured artist in the Humboldt Artist Gallery, and of course, music and wine too!


Opening Saturday night will be 3 new exhibitions:
  • Jave Yoshimoto's, exhibition "The Fragile World"
  • Lenore Cady's "Books and Letters"
  • Amy Uyeki's illustrations from the popular children's book "The Extraordinary Voyage of Kamome"

All evening long, we'll have Kingfoot playing their unique style of acoustic Americana music to accompany you as you explore the galleries and enjoy a glass of wine (or two!).

Art Talk with Jave Yoshimoto

meet the artist behind "the fragile world"
Jave Yoshimoto, an artist and educator, will discuss his exhibition, "The Fragile World", this Sunday at 2:00pm. 

Jave will share how his many travels and experiences have influenced his work, in particular his experience of watching from afar as a devastating earthquake and tsunami changed his home country forever.
