creative education highlights
A room packed with SUPERHEROES! We’ve had the great pleasure of doing several programs at the Homestead Library this summer. The most recent focused on superheroes. These awesome youth pondered ways that they could use their own super powers to make the world a better place and created the items they’d wear while doing so! See photos here.

We post photos from our Creative Education programs very regularly on ye olde internet! Most often on
Facebook, sometimes on Instagram. Give us a like or a follow!

Dried-out Markers! What do you do with markers and pens that no longer work? We will explore alternatives for reusing these often-disposed coloring utensils. Learn how to take pens and markers apart. Use the parts to make your own liquid watercolors and alcohol inks! Transform marker caps into jump ropes, bead curtains, and jewelry! Join us August 13 to explore the fun and creative potential of pens!

Penguin stickers! There are six different images. 50 cents for six stickers.
Reusable tote bags are just 50 cents each or you can fill a bulk bag with 'em for $2, $5 or $8. You'll be set for life.
Rolls and rolls of ribbon. Add a special detail to all kinds of projects - most rolls are just 50 cents each.
These beautiful and very real antlers are $30.
Have the most stylish kid on the block. Our patterns are 50 cents each.
It seems like there are countless uses for long paperboard tubes! Make a teepee, make a knight's jousting lance, turn it into a telescope, protect your plants, keep your boots from flopping over, neatly store holiday lights, or...
It's no blooper. The records in our Bulk section are $1 each or you can fill a bag full of 'em.
Did someone make a blooper?! Fix it fast with a 25 cent eraser.
Simple black frames go with any decor. These 12" x 18" frames are just $2 each.
We have a lot of fun on social media. We know you do, too! Pick your poison:
