Jan. 14, I Have a Name: Identity and Belonging in Small Town America - photographs by Raymond L. Ketcham exhibit opens at Northwind Arts Center.

Jan. 14, An Evening With Karla Bonoff, presented by Rainshadow Productions, in cooperation with Centrum at Fort Worden. 10% of gross proceeds donated to support Centrum programming and scholarships.

Jan. 14, PT Songlines Winter Concert with guest artist Devin Beu, at the Cotton Building from 7-9 pm. A benefit for Dove House.

Jan. 15,
Centrum presents the Port Townsend Chamber Music Series, City of Angels Ensemble at Wheeler Theater, Fort Worden State Park.

Jan. 20, Family Fun in the Chandlery at the Northwest Maritime Center. Join Eric Ode, author, songwriter, poet, and entertainer for children and families from 3-4:30 pm. Enjoy some reading, a book signing, and singing with the kids, and take 20% off merchandise store wide!

Jan. 21, Murder Mystery Dinner at the Old Consulate Inn, an interactive murder mystery featuring Lovecraftian overtones and a sumptuous 7-course Victorian dinner.

Jan. 22, Eva Hesse, a Community Arts Film Series presented by Northwind Arts Center in partnership with the Rose Theatre.

Jan. 24, Join
Doc's Marina Grill for their Winemakers Dinner Series, this month they will walk you through wines of Italy! Five Italian wines paired with four Italian food courses. Call 360-344-3627 for reservations.

Jan. 27, Mt. Townsend Creamery will be in the
Chandlery at the Northwest Maritime Center from 2-5 pm. Cheese and wine tasting and enjoy 20% off Chandlery merchandise store wide!

Pippa's Real Tea, 5 pm. 
 

Jan. 27-28, Strange Brewfest 13 - A Baker's Dozen! 30 Breweries & Cideries with over 60 strangely crafted concoctions. Great brews, music, dancing, food and oddities. Tickets on sale now!

Scotts FestCelebration of things Scottish featuring scotch tastings, readings of Robert Burns, and of course bagpipes at the Hastings Building, 839 Water Street from 11 am - 5 pm.

Prizes included gift certificates to Elevated Ice Cream and Candy Company, Whistle Stop Toys and the Rose Theatre, as well as certificates of appreciation. The judges included Bill Tennent, Executive Director of the Jefferson County Historical Society, architect Simon Little, owner of StudioSTL, and Robin Rogers, co-owner of Dogs-A-Foot and one of the new owners of Aldrich’s Market.

The Gingerbread Contest will go back home to Aldrich’s Market in December, 2017. The contest was coordinated by the Port Townsend Main Street Program’s Promotion Committee. The committee expresses its thanks to the Flagship Landing Management, the Fukuda Family, Steve Goldenbogen of Whistle Stop Toys, SOS Printing, Michael Hale, and the judges for their support of the Gingerbread Contest. Special thanks to Scott and Robin Rogers for donating the prizes.

Kiwanis Stars of Tomorrow Auditions at Blue Heron Middle School on January 19th from 3-5 pm. Applications are available at the schools, Crossroads Music, or online at starsoftomorrowpt.com. Questions may be directed to the chairperson, Mary Crozier, at 531-0200 or maryc@ptpc.com.

Join The Boiler Room and their honorary chair, local firefighter and EMT Jordan Pollack, for their 2017 auction, A Night of Heroes on February 18th! Be a hero* and help The Boiler Room build community! The festivities will be off to a raucous start at 5 pm with silent auction and photo booth fun, followed by dinner and a famed fabulous live auction. 100% of proceeds to benefit programming at The Boiler Room. Early bird tickets are $65 and available until February 1. Tickets will then be $75 until the cut off date of February 10. Get your tickets soon!  *Costumery encouraged, but we will ask you to remove masks.

Main Street Tax Incentive Program -- Washington State has reached its cap for 2017! Thank you to those who were able to pledge to Port Townsend for the 2017 Main Street Tax Incentive Program.

Putting Your State B&O Taxes To Work Here In Port Townsend Through the 2017 Main Street Tax Incentive Program. 75% of your donation is returned to you via B&O tax credits in 2018. In addition, your entire contribution may qualify as a 501(c)(3) charitable deduction on your 2017 federal income tax return.
