Did You Know?
29% of Calgarians think they belong to community associations in Calgary and 68% are aware of their local community association? Broken down by ward, The City of Calgary engaged Ipsos Reid to determine residents’ needs and desires for the delivery of recreation, leisure and social programming as well as thoughts about their community association. Overall, this is a very interesting report. A few stats we thought were interesting include: 93% of Calgarians agree “My neighbourhood is a place where I feel that I belong” and 83% of Calgarians trust that the decisions being made by their community association represent the views of residents. All ward reports can be found here.
