The Average Calgarian
We have exciting news! We have partnered with Shaw TV to create a new television segment that will begin airing next month. The Average Calgarian will be a weekly segment featuring dedicated and hard-working community association volunteers and showcasing the variety of projects, events, and initiatives taking place in our network! We will let you know once it starts airing as well as share the online videos with you.

Calgary Foundation Fund for Canada 150
The Calgary Foundation is pleased to announce that they are accepting a second round of applications to the Community Fund for Canada's 150th. The Fund will activate a breathtaking array of ideas and activities that will bring out the best that Canada has to offer, now and for future generations. Exploring Communities
We are excited to announce a new program called Exploring Communities which will look at asset mapping and is a project in collaboration with the U of C. For 217 we will be launching this project by "Celebrating the East!" Stay tuned!
Jane's Walk Workshop
Jane’s Walk is a weekend of free neighbourhood walking tours held in cities around the world each May. If you’re curious about leading a Jane’s Walk, The Calgary Foundation and The City of Calgary invite you to attend a “how-to” session where you will receive step-by-step instructions on how to bring your ideas and neighbourhood to life through a walking tour.
