GMCT was the proud sponsor of last week's ‘Death and Dying – Lifting the Lid on it’ comedy event, which saw comedian Jean Kittson entertain a crowd of over 150 with her humorous and sometimes poignant take on death and dying.
Our ability to realise our vision – to provide lasting memories and peaceful places to remember our loved ones – is dependent on how we respond to the current and future needs of the communities we serve. The new community section on GMCT’s website has been developed to keep you informed on upcoming consultation opportunities, major projects, partner organisations and events.
Official opening of
The Atrium of Holy Angels
GMCT is proud to invite the community to the official opening and blessing of Fawkner Memorial Park’s new mausoleum - The Atrium of Holy Angels. Join us on 7 April 2017 for a blessing by The Most Reverend Denis Hart, Archbishop of Melbourne and opening proceedings led by the Hon. Gabrielle Williams MP.
Join Keilor Historical Society for the Harrick's Cottage Open Day at Keilor Cemetery. Keilor Historical Society will be serving refreshments and exploring the rich heritage of Harrick's Cottage, a rare surviving example of a pole constructed, tent-shaped dwelling dating back to early Irish immigrant settlers' huts.
At GMCT we're delighted to be connected to our families and our communities.
