Bicentennial Exhibit Opening

On Thursday May 5, the Brimfield Historical Society & Kelso House Museum will host the opening of its newest exhibit, Brimfield Township Celebrates 200 Years: Changes take place, but our traditions remain.

This exhibit will focus on the development of the townships services; it will include photos, memorabilia, artifacts, and interesting personal stories and narratives found while researching our roots.

The exhibit event will be from 4pm until 7pm, with a Curator’s Talk on the hour. Refreshments and snacks will be served by the Historical Society Board in the McCormick Heritage Room.

Volunteers Wanted!

The Brimfield Historical Society is looking for individuals interested in volunteering with us during the week of Ohio Chautauqua (June 7-11). Individuals interested in volunteering as greeters, parking attendants, and everything inbetween are asked to contact the Museum Curator at 330-673-1058, or email at
