The NuGO Early Career Network, ECN, launches its first activity!

The NuGO ECN is very excited to announce a series of free webinars, starting on February 9th at 16:00hrs CET.

Our first speakers is Dr. Rosa Vázquez-Fresno. She will give us an introduction to MetaboAnalyst: a web-based freely accessible tool for metabolomics data analysis and interpretation,

Dr Rosa Vázquez-Fresno obtained her PhD in Food and Nutrition at the University of Barcelona. She is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. David Wishart his grouop at the University of Alberta. She is also the NMR specialist in The Metabolomic Innovation Centre, TMIC.

NIMGenetics becomes NuGO's 25th member organisation.


NIMGenetics is a privately owned Spanish biomedical company specializing int he design and commercialization of products and services for clinical genetic diagnosis.

NIMGenetics is already a part of the IMI2, EraMed and other minor European projects, but mostly in the area of clinical genomics. The intention of the recently created personal genomics department is to keep the pace of scientific research and innovation rhythm of the other areas. To become a NuGO member organisation they hope not only to participate in ongoing projects, but also lead the initiative in new ones, under the H2020 support.

Dr. David de Lorenzo, who colaborated with NuGo over the past 10 years, will be the contact person.
