Rev. Donna Parramore to be Appointed as District Superintendent

Rev. Donna A. Parramore
Bishop William T. McAlilly of the Nashville Episcopal Area of The United Methodist Church announced today his intention to appoint Rev. Donna A. Parramore as a district superintendent of the Tennessee Conference later this year.
 
She will assume the new role beginning in June of 2017, with the setting of new appointments at the 2017 session of the Tennessee Annual Conference.The location of the district will be named when the redistricting process has been completed. 
 
Rev. Parramore has served as the Senior Pastor of Epworth United Methodist Church since 2014. A graduate of Vanderbilt Divinity School (MDiv), Rev. Parramore began her ministry at City Road Chapel United Methodist Church in Madison, TN where she served as Associate Pastor. Prior to her current appointment, she served as the Senior Pastor at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in New Johnsonville, TN.
 
In addition, Rev. Parramore currently serves on the Conference Council on Finance and Administration and as a member of the Columbia District Operational Team. She has also served as a Residence in Ministry group leader as well as chair of the Stewardship Committee.
 
Rev. Parramore’s replacement at Epworth United Methodist Church has not been named.  The bishop and cabinet will discern the best possible missional appointment for this church as well as all churches in the Tennessee Conference during the appointive process this spring. The projected appointments will be announced in the spring and will be finalized during the 2017 session of the Tennessee Annual Conference in June.
